If you use information you read on a website, this must always be in your own words. One mistake that users make is paraphrasing, which means that they paste sections of what they read online into their writing document, and then merely change a few words. This is not acceptable. The best way to avoid plagiarism is to research, learn and then open a blank page and use your imagination to come up with the words.

Quoting websites: You can quote a website briefly within an article, but make sure all quotations are in quotation marks and that you give the website credit for the quotation by embedding a link into the article at an appropriate place within the text.
